The engine temperature signal is used by the engine control module to adjust the air/fuel mixture and ignition timing. This premium aftermarket replacement engine coolant temperature sensor is manufactured to meet your expectations for fit, form, and function.

An engine coolant temperature sensor measures coolant temperature. It does this through changing resistance and sends this information to the onboard computer. The computer uses this and other inputs to calculate the correct amount of fuel delivered. Symptoms of failure include no start, engine flooding, steady check engine light and/or poor fuel economy. Recommended service should be performed every 25,000 to 35,000 miles and consists of cleaning or replacing sensors that are non-functional.

Package Included:

Spectre’s Triple Groove Pulley was designed for the ’69-’85 small block Chevrolet with a long water pump. This crankshaft pulley with triple belt groove is triple chrome plated steel. Measuring 7 3/4 inches in diameter the triple groove pulley is engineered for optimum fit and function. Note – identify the water pump by looking at the distance between it and the timing cover. Long water pumps are about 1 inch away from the timing cover.
